The Furnace
I've been thinking and praying a lot about joining the Furnace. It's an internship at New Life Church for college age people. They meet in the evenings so that you can have a job or be going to college while in it. I know it would be a big time commitment. But I can't get past the fact that I want to do something big for God. Lately I've been really bored with that area of my life. I don't want to just live each day, but be actively pursuing God and what He has for me. I think that The Furnace will help me to do that. The only hang up is that I'd have to go to The Gathering which is on Thursday nights, and that's when I have worship practice now. I'm guess at some point I will just have to step out in faith and see where God takes me. So yeah I guess some things will be changing in my life this fall. However I'm sure that no matter what I'm doing, as long as I'm following after God it will all be great.

Little Kids
Sometimes living in a neighborhood can be rather amusing. Since it's mid summer we have a lot of little kids running around in the evening playing. Well tonight I was switching the laundry and the window was open. I could hear two little kids outside and their conversation was as follows:

Girl- You're a little girl Brandon
Brandon- Girls are weird!
Girl- So! You're a little girl so that means you're weird.

I must admit Brandon had that one coming.
